While most of our competitors charge an arm and a leg for delivery we like to keep it simple, with our fair delivery price, our delivery options are straight forward and flexible. Whatever products you’ve ordered from us, you’ll enjoy a fantastic delivery service to suit you. Learn more about our range of delivery options, and choose the method that’s right for you.

On each Vale Footstools product page, you’ll see a dispatch estimate. Dispatch is when we send the product to our delivery partner, not when it arrives at your door.

Things you need to know

  • You’ll receive a confirmation email once your order is placed, followed by a second email containing your tracking information once your order has been shipped.
  • In the unlikely event that you don’t receive your order after the stated delivery time-frame, or your order is damaged when it arrives, please contact us as soon as you are aware and no longer than 7 days from the delivery date stated on your tracking.

Your delivery charge is based on the subtotal of your basket, before any discounts are applied.

When will I get my order?

Royal Mail

Your order will be delivered to your door within 2 working days of dispatch. On the day of your delivery, you’ll get a text and email to let you know it’s due for arrival. If you’re not in, a card will be left and you’ll be able to collect your order from your local post office. Please note: packaging won’t be taken away by the carrier.

Parcel Force

Your order will be delivered to your door within 48 hours of dispatch. You’ll get a text and email the evening before to let you know it’s due for arrival the next day. On the morning of the delivery, ParcelForce will send you another text with a 1 hour delivery slot. You’ll have the option to reschedule for a different date, leave it with your favourite neighbour or send it to a local depot for collection. Please note: packaging won’t be taken away by the carrier.

Types of delivery

Weekend Delivery

Where applicable, you can opt for Saturday or Sunday delivery at the checkout. We charge extra per delivery for weekend services.

Please note: if you’ve already placed your order and selected a standard weekday delivery, we can’t change this to a weekend delivery.

What if I’m not at home when the courier attempts to deliver?

If for any reason you are not at home when the courier tries to deliver, they will leave a card with details of the consignment and how to contact the courier and arrange for re-delivery or, if it is easier, to collect from their depot. Alternatively, if possible, leave a signed note on your front door instructing the courier to leave the item with a neighbour. We are unable to leave goods which are unsigned, for insurance reasons. Please contact the depot within 24hrs, as your goods will be shipped back to us.

I live in a multi-storey building, will the courier bring the item up to my property?

Due to insurance policy reasons our couriers are only permitted to deliver your item(s) to the front door of your building.

How many deliveries do I get when I have an order with more than one product?

All your products will be sent out together, they may well be packaged in multiple boxes.
