The Edensor round storage footstool is the boldest piece in our collection, built around deep buttoning that pulls the upholstery into rich, sculpted folds across the lid. It’s a surface with real presence — light and shadow shift across it through the day, and the effect is unmistakably handmade. Lift the lid away and there’s generous storage space beneath, ready for throws, magazines or whatever else needs keeping out of sight. Thick padding means it’s as comfortable underfoot as it is impressive to look at, making the Edensor a luxury footstool that works as hard as it shows off.

Every Edensor is made to order, so no two need ever be alike. Begin with the fabric, choosing from a carefully selected range of high-quality fabrics by some of the finest fabric houses. Then choose from a selection of beautifully turned wooden feet. Finish the lower edge with decorative piping or metal studs, offered in luxurious finishes including gold, chrome, copper, old gold and vintage.

Each one is handmade in our countryside workshop, using the same tools and techniques our family has relied on for decades. The frame beneath the upholstery is solid enough that in twenty or thirty years’ time it can be reupholstered rather than replaced — a statement piece now, and a fixture of your home for generations.
