FAQ's

1:-What are the footstools made from?
Each footstool is hand made from a wooden base and then padded and covered with real sheepskin

2:-What happens if they get dirty?
Use a soapy sponge to sponge out any dirt or grime being careful not to get the footstool too wet

Allow the footstool to dry naturally then brush firmly with a bristle brush

3:-Can they be used as a stool to sit on?
The footstools are made very strongly indeed but are made primarily as a footstool and not as a sitting down on stool

It should be possible to use it as stool as long as the person is not overweight and they sit down gently

We have never had any problems reported when people use them as a stool but they are not guaranteed for this purpose

4:-How big are the footstools?
They are approximately 13 inches high and 13 to 17 inches long, some like the Dachshund are twice as long. These are the dimensions we find are most suitable for a comfortable foot rest.

5:-Is there a guarantee?
Yes, all footstools are guaranteed for 12 months assuming normal use

6:-How much does carriage cost?
This depends where you are

Anywhere in the UK is £11.99

Europe and USA we charge by weight and normally costs about 85 euros or dollars

We do not make a profit on delivery, we simply charge you what we get charged ourselves

7:-How long will it take to get to me?
Usually we despatch within 5 days, but this most definately can go out to about 4 weeks as we approach christmas

At xmas 2005, 2004, 2003 etc we did not let any one down so we will give you your footstool free if not delivered by xmas.

If it's for a birthday and needs to be there on a special day then please let us arrange a perfect delivery date for you.

When we despatch overseas by air mail it takes about 3 days

All UK deliveries are sent on a trackable 24 hour service.

8:-Do you take Credit Cards?
Yes we accept credit cards taken by Paypal.

9:-Do you have a secure server for internet transactions?
Yes

Totally secure

Be reassured

The encryption process is absolutely 'state of the art'

10:-Will my footstool look just like your pictures?
Basically the answer is yes, though as they are all handmade, each is a little different and unique, but not by very much

11:-Will any black marks come off on my carpets?
No, all unfleeced areas are varnished to seal them .

12:-Will the legs scratch my polished floorboards?
Footstools which have legs totally covered in fleece would not scratch floorboards.

Legs which are not fleeced are very smoothly sanded but if it was my floor I would play safe and put sticky backed felt on the bottom of the legs.

13:-They look nice, but what if it arrives and I think it's rubbish?
We have a rather pretty certificate from The Guild of Master Craftsmen which says our products and production methods are inspected and approved.

Lets face it though, when you buy something from an internet site, it's a bit of a leap of faith, so we give you an unconditional guarantee, that you may return any item for any reason, no questions asked, for a full refund, within 14 days of delivery, not that we ever expect to have to take one back.

14:-Do they actually work as a footstool?
Yes

They are very strongly made, have several layers of sheepskin padding, covered in fleece, and we have had several customers with leg ailments who have returned to reorder for other rooms in their house

15:-If I send you a picture of my pet can you do me one just like it?
No, it takes about 60 hours of work and about 12 total redesigns on average to get a new product to look right

16:-Will a dog attack it?
probably not.

We have only had to repair 2 stools in the last 5 years due to dog attacks, and almost all of the customer comments we get say that the dog just ignores the stool after a fair bit of sniffing, or is so bewildered it will not go in the same room as the footstool

If you really think your dog will attack it then use your common sense and don't place an order, but I think you will be surprised at how easily our footstools get accepted by dogs, as we really have had a lot of positive feedback from dog owners

17:-How to place an order?
Simply add the item to your trolley by clicking on the 'Add to Cart' button on the page showing the picture of the footstool you want, then press the red 'View Cart / Checkout' button on the top right of the page, and the software will take you easily through the buying process, it's really very easy
